you have to use what is called a proxy. it doesnt actually change your firewall settings. it works around the firewall because the proxy server is the server actually retrieving the website not your school's servers. i use babelfish if i need a proxy. put myspace.com in the translate a webpage box then pick some language to english, doesnt matter which one as long as it ends with "to english" then hit translate button.
